The WiFi Surveyor Indoor fits in an included crush-proof, water-resistant, airplane safe, wheeled case and padded vinyl shoulder case.

The ability to roll enables easy movement throughout the site. The aluminum alloy frame structure maintains the balance of the pole and the mount has the same rigid quality of a tripod.

Mounting the AP to the desired location and height is the best way to achieve the best simulated RF environment setting possible when performing the site survey. If antennas are mounted alone, there will be considerable signal attenuation do the long RF cables used in the setup.

The swiveling, threaded AP bracket adaptor can easily accommodate mounting of any AP bracket in both vertical and horizontal positions.

The retractable pole can extend up to 12 feet in height. The rubber grip allows the user to hold and move the whole setup with ease.

To prevent shock, foam rubber material wraps the POE battery that is positioned on top of the mobile platform eliminating the need to physically carry the POE battery pack throughout the site. It can power all Cisco APs and all 802.3af-compliant access points. Power voltages are 48V and 56V.

Carrying and keeping track of the POE battery, AP, tripod, and tablet PC on every floor and in every room slows down the survey. The WiFi Surveyor is designed to enable smooth transition from area to area.

The mobile platform is equipped with heavy-duty three inch casters. It has a built-in placeholder for POE battery pack/charger, laptop, clipboard, and the Indoor model has a magnetic white board for labeling purposes.

This handle is necessary for better grip when working on uneven floors and when traveling up or down stairs.
